Atletico Madrid agree deal with Monaco over Lemar
In the absence of the signature and a medical review, Lemar is about to become the most expensive signing in the history of Atletico Madrid.
The Rojiblancos will pay between 70 and 80 million euros to Monaco for the Frenchman, meaning he leapfrogs Diego Costa at the top of the table for player expenditure.
Costa was a 55m euro acquisition from Chelsea, with the 40m paid for Falcao in 2011 already seeming a distant memory.
